Terms of Use
1. Parties and scope
These terms govern the use of the bookkeeping service (the “Service”) provided at hesap.dev by [COMPANY NAME] (“Hesap”). By creating an account you accept these terms.
2. What the Service is
- Hesap is a bookkeeping and record-keeping tool for tracking cash, contacts, income, expenses and profit & loss.
- The Service is not a statutory ledger, an invoicing or e-invoicing system, a tax filing service or an accounting firm, and it does not provide tax, accounting or legal advice.
- The accuracy of reports depends on the accuracy of the entries you make. Consult your accountant for your legal and tax obligations.
3. Account and security
- You must provide a valid email address and confirm it when you sign up (or by accepting an invitation sent to it).
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. If you notice unauthorized activity, change your password immediately and let us know.
- You decide the permissions of the people you add to your account, and as the account owner you are responsible for their actions.
4. Plans and fees
- The Starter plan is free and limited as published on hesap.dev (number of companies, cash accounts, contacts and users).
- Prices of paid plans are published on hesap.dev. [Payment method, billing period, taxes (VAT), refunds and withdrawal rights — to be defined with legal counsel and an accountant.]
- If a plan expires or is not paid, your account may become read-only. Your entries are not deleted; you can still view and export them.
- Price and plan changes are announced a reasonable time before they take effect.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service for unlawful purposes, try to access other people's accounts, overload it with automated tools or try to bypass its security measures. Doing so may lead to suspension of your account.
6. Your data
- The entries you make belong to you. You can export them as CSV at any time.
- For personal data about your customers, suppliers and other business contacts that you enter, you are the controller; Hesap processes that data only to provide the Service and on your instructions, and for no other purpose. [Data processing terms — legal review.]
- Platform administrators do not see the balances or entries of customer accounts; they only see account information such as plan, status and usage counts.
- How personal data is processed is described in the Privacy Notice.
7. Availability and limitation of liability
We make reasonable efforts to provide the Service without interruption or errors, but maintenance, failures of infrastructure providers or force majeure may cause interruptions. [Limitation of liability and backup commitment — legal review.] We recommend exporting important records regularly.
8. Closing your account
You can ask us to close your account by writing to ayhanselek@gmail.com. Your data is deleted, subject to legal retention obligations. If these terms are breached, we may close your account after notifying you.
9. Changes and governing law
These terms may be updated; material changes are announced by email or in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye; the courts and enforcement offices of [city] have jurisdiction. [Consumer rights and mandatory local law for customers outside Türkiye — legal review.]
